Descent of the Minotaur By John Simpson

This silkscreen print on beautiful Heritage Rag archival 300gsm paper is hand printed by John Simpson using the monotype technique, a method of printing involving a great deal of input by the artist, adding originality to each print. The intriguing and emotive image is of a crouching Minotaur. John Simpson is interested in the relationship between the human figure and animal forms and much of his work is inspired by mythology and folktales.
